Affiliate Disclosure

Our Commitment to Transparency
CartComps believes in full transparency with our visitors. This page explains how we earn revenue, how affiliate relationships work on our site, and how this may influence the content we present. We want you to make informed purchasing decisions, and part of that means understanding how our business operates.
How We Earn Revenue
CartComps is a free price comparison service. We earn money through affiliate marketing, which means we receive a small commission when you click on certain links on our site and make a purchase from the retailer. This commission comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
These commissions help us keep the site running, pay for hosting and development, and continue providing free product comparisons and deal information to our visitors.
Amazon Associates Program
CartComps is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, CartComps earns from qualifying purchases.
When you click a product link on our site and make a purchase on Amazon, we may receive a percentage of that sale. This applies to any item you purchase during that session, not just the product you originally clicked on.
How Affiliate Links Work
Links on CartComps that direct you to product pages on Amazon or other retailers contain special tracking parameters. These parameters tell the retailer that you arrived via our site, allowing them to credit us with a commission if you make a purchase. These links do not affect the price you pay, install anything on your device, or compromise your privacy beyond what the retailer normally collects.
You can identify affiliate links on our site by the "View on Amazon" buttons on product cards and product detail pages. All outbound product links on CartComps should be assumed to be affiliate links unless otherwise stated.
Editorial Independence
Our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content, product rankings, or the information we present. Product data displayed on CartComps — including prices, ratings, and availability — is sourced directly from retailer APIs and presented as-is. We do not manipulate product information to favor higher-commission items.
We are committed to providing accurate, unbiased product comparisons. Our goal is to help you find the best deal, regardless of whether or not we earn a commission from the purchase.
Price Accuracy
Product prices and availability displayed on CartComps are sourced from retailer data feeds and are subject to change. While we make every effort to display current pricing, we cannot guarantee that prices shown on our site will match the final price at checkout. Always verify the price on the retailer's website before completing a purchase.
Additional Affiliate Partnerships
While Amazon Associates is our primary affiliate program, we may participate in other affiliate programs or advertising partnerships in the future. Should we add additional partnerships, this disclosure will be updated to reflect those relationships. The same principles of transparency and editorial independence apply to all current and future partnerships.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). The FTC requires that affiliate relationships be clearly disclosed to consumers. We take this obligation seriously and strive to exceed the minimum disclosure requirements.
